Why a Buick?

I bought the Dakota after college. I soon realized that I wanted more passenger space than a truck could provide, so I started thinking about buying a car. My requirements for a car were fairly simple, the car had to be quick, have some aftermarket mods available, be able to carry 4 adults in comfort, have nice lines, and get decent gas mileage. I saw  two custom built Buicks featured in the April 2000 edition of Popular Hot Rodding. The first was a black Park Ave and the second was a yellow Regal GS. After seeing the Regal in that magazine, and reading about the upgrades done to it, I knew I had to have one. After researching the car, I knew which options and colors I wanted, so all I had to do was wait for the "right" one to come in. The wait was over on July 24, 2001.
